Technology

Our Technology

Our technology allows us to monitor and minimize radiation exposure while simultaneously improving image clarity. This maximizes benefits and offers a meaningful balance of quality and safety for you and your provider.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize anatomy deep to the skin surface without the use of radiation. When these sound waves reach various depths in the body, echoes are produced and electronically converted into an image displayed on a monitor. Our physicians use this technology to guide them in a variety of procedures such as:

  • Fine Needle Aspirations
  • Solid Organ Biopsy
  • Platelet-Rich Plasma Injections
  • Paracentesis and Thoracentesis

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is a type of medical imaging that uses a continuous beam of X-rays to assist your physician when performing medical procedures within the body. It enables our physicians to study moving body structures. The beam is transmitted to a monitor so the body system and its motion can be seen in detail. Fluoroscopy can evaluate specific areas of the body, including the skeletal, digestive, urinary, respiratory, and reproductive systems. Our physicians may use Fluoroscopy while performing procedures such as:

  • Joint Injections
  • Nerve Blocks
  • Biopsies
  • Catheterizations
